HSBC TO AWARD TRAINING BURSARY
HSBC, the platinum partner of the FEI and
global sponsor of eventing through the HSBC FEI Classics™, which
unites five of the world’s four-star three-day events, and the HSBC
FEI World Cup™ Eventing, holds at the centre of all of its
sponsorships a commitment to youth, education and community.
Through HSBC’s support of the 2010 Mitsubishi
Motors Grassroots Championship and the HSBC Pony Club Eventing
Training Programme, the world’s local bank is helping the sport at
the grassroots level and developing the stars of the future. As
part of this initiative, HSBC will be giving a training bursary to
the winner of both the BE90 and BE100 class at the Mitsubishi
Motors Grassroots Championships at Badminton.
For the second year running, HSBC and the The
Pony Club are working together to create the HSBC Pony Club
Eventing Training Programme, which is designed to capitalise on the
talent and enthusiasm of Pony Club Members. This consists of 21
eventing training days in 2010, at least one in each of the Pony
Club in Britain’s 19 regions. Each of the training sessions
is conducted by a top coach, such as Yogi Breisner, British
Eventing team Performance Manager, or one of a number of
international riders and trainers.
HSBC, the world’s local bank, is delighted to
support the exciting 2010 Mitsubishi Motors Grassroots Championship
at Badminton.
