CHAMPIONSHIP
NAF Announce New Associate
Sponsorship
British Eventing are pleased to announce that leading equine
supplement company, NAF (Natural Animal Feeds) are set to become
Associate Sponsors of the Mitsubushi Motors Grassroots
Championships in 2010.
NAF are already well known within British Eventing as title
sponsors of the British Eventing NAF Five Star Jump Training winter
series for the second consecutive year.
Recognized as one of the most respected and well known Equine
supplement manufacturers, NAF have over 25 years experience in
using proven ingredients found in nature and creating unique
effective formulations. NAF pride themselves on their unparalleled
commitment to quality. NAF are also official suppliers to the
British Equestrian Team, which enables riders from all British Team
disciplines to use NAF products, under the direction of their Team
Vets.
In an exciting development for amateur riders, the new venue for
the popular Grassroots Championships will be the illustrious
Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials. The Championships will
bring together successful riders from BE90 and BE100 regional
finals from around the country to contest the overall finals.
To gain a place in the regional finals, combinations had to finish
in the top 10% of normal BE90 or BE100 sections held at BE events
between July 2008 and July 2009. The BE90 and BE100 series runs at
competitions with fences at 90cm and 1 metre respectively and
culminates in a Championship which has now been running for five
years. The demand for the BE90 and BE100 championships came about
due to expansion of the sport at grassroots level, hence the next
step was to celebrate this growth by means of a championship which
is now the ‘Mitsubishi Motors Grassroots Festival.’
Says Tracey Lloyd, Sponsorship Manager, NAF: "We are thrilled to
have set up this agreement and to be associated with Mitsubushi
Motors and Badminton Horse Trials in such an exciting and eagerly
anticipated initiative as the Grassroots Festival. We are
always keen to support enthusiastic amateur riders in their chosen
sport, and, intend to offer as much expert advice and help with
equine nutrition as we can to the Grassroots riders in their
campaign to have their horses fit, healthy and ready to
compete."
The BE90 Regional finals for the 2011 Mitsubishi Motors Grassroots
Championships will start at Skipton on the 7th August; the BE100
Regional Finals will commence on the 18th August at Shelford Manor
(2).
