Fredericks favourites at the bookies
Bookmaker Neil Astor from Oxford is offering odds of 3/1 on
Lucinda Fredericks and Headley Britannia to win the Mitsubishi
Motors Badminton Horse Trials. The Australian rider and last year’s
winners of Burghley are marginal favourites for the title ahead of
Winsome Adante and Kim Severson who are offered at 7/2. Toytown and
Zara Phillips have odds of 9/2 the same as German rider Hinrich
Romeike and Marius Voigt-Logistik. Odds for the German team gold
medallist are slightly shorter than for his team compatriot Frank
Ostholt who rides Air Jordan 2. Andrew Nicholson and Lord
Killinghurst, who have yet to do their dressage test are 8/1 while
Tankers Town (Sharon Hunt), Hildago De L’ile (Nicolas Touzaint) and
Serve Well FRH (Andreas Dibowski) are all 10/1. At the bottom end
of the scale for those who fancy an outside bet Skwal (Andrew
Downes) and Harry (Bruno Bouvier) are both 1000/1.
