Getting to Badminton

Badminton is situated about 85 miles west of London and some 15 miles from Bristol and Bath. Full directions for travelling by car will be sent with vehicle passes if tickets have been purchased in advance. For visitors who will be purchasing tickets at the gate please follow appropriate AA Signage from Stroud, Cirencester, Chippenham or the M4 in either direction.
We advise you not to use a SatNav system as they take no account of our traffic management scheme.
All routes to Badminton will be signed by the A.A. If passengers are being ‘dropped off’ and the driver wishes to leave and return later, please see notes under Taxis below.
London Heathrow Airport is approximately 2 hours from Badminton.
Bristol International Airport is approximately 1 hour from Badminton.

We would recommend hiring a car if you do not have your own transport as public transport to the event is extremely limited.

Coach Travel
Coaches (25 seaters +) will be directed to the coach park, which is adjacent to part of the cross country course and about 500 yards from the Trade Stand Village.
A personal admission ticket will be required for all occupants over the age of 12. (No charge for coach drivers). There will be a charge for Coach Parking this year.

Coach operators please note that coaches cannot leave the site once they have dropped passengers, until they are ready to depart at the end of the day. There will be toilets and refreshment facilities for drivers.

TrainsThe nearest British Rail station is at Chippenham. Coaches are will meet specified trains at Chippenham Station on Sunday 6th May. Please note that there will be a one way system in operation in Badminton on Sunday 6th May. Taxis must drop passengers at our ‘drop off point’ – if they come in by other routes the taxi will not be able to leave until after 1400 hrs! The drop off point is on the southern edge of Badminton Village on the road to Acton Turville. Vehicles must approach the ‘drop off point’ from Acton Turville and not attempt to get there through Badminton village or through Badminton Park. The route to the drop off point will be signed by the AA
