For those interested in all things Badminton,
later today is the official launch of ‘Badminton Revisited’, the
book that celebrates Badmintons diamond jubilee.

Horse Trials ‘Badminton Revisited’, has been written by Julian
Seaman, a former spectator, competitor and journalist who became
Press Officer in 2002.
Julian became inspired by Badminton while on
family visits to the great event. In the late seventies and early
eighties he got the opportunity to compete – and while several
attempts ended on the grass in 1978 he completed and gained ninth
place.
In his fascinating book Julian charts the
development of Badminton Horse Trials including changes to the
course, fences, riders, runners, winners and losers as well as the
remarkable characters that have helped form Badminton to become the
event it is today.
