ON-SITE FACILITIES 2010
The following facilities will be available at Badminton in
2010 - this information will be updated to give more detailed
information in March .
During the Event, users of modern mobile phones and PDAs capable
of browsing the internet can now access a mobile version of the
badminton website, providing results, news, photos and multimedia
content. To access the site from your phone or PDA simply bookmark
the web address above on your device.
BANKS
Thomas Cook cash, banking & bureau facility will be located
on the Showground.
BOOKMAKER
Neil Astor will provide a betting service next to the
Scoreboard
CAR PARKING
Gates will open Friday and Saturday at 8am. On Sunday,
cross country day, the gates will open from 7am - you are advised
to arrive early. On Monday the gates will open at 7.30
a.m. Car Parking instructions will be sent with
tickets. Follow AA signage to Event.
CATERING & BARS
The Badminton Members
Club offers a full range of catering and bars throughout each day
alongside the main Arena - see Membership
for more information.. The Pig & Whistle near the Big Screen is
a pub with full bar service and adjoining numerous fast food
concessions. The Plough offers another bar and fast food area in
the middle of the Trade Stand village. There are further fast food
and ice cream outlets throughout the site, several with extensive
covered seating areas and there are more groups of food
concessionaires all around the cross country course on
Sunday. Relish, the Event Caterers, will have a delicatessan
near the Scoreboard.
CHEMIST
A Chemist will be located on the
showground.
DISABLED
Toilets are available at various
locations around the showground. Powered Scooters for disabled
people are available on loan- subject to availability - from

DOG CRECHE
A Dog Creche will be manned by
the Langford Trust and will look after dogs for a maximum of 2
hours at a time.
FIRST AID
First Aid is available at the Red Cross tent - near the Event
Organiser's Office and also at First Aid Points on the Cross
Country Course on the Sunday.
HORSEWARE IRELAND RADIO BADMINTON 2010
Will be broadcast throughout the 4 days of the
event. The frequency will be confirmed in the
spring. Earpieces can be purchased from the Box Office in
advance or from sellers around the showground.
LOST PROPERTY
Any lost property should be
taken to the Event Organiser's Office on the Showground. If
you have lost anything telephone the Horse Trials Office after the
Event and we will see if it has been handed in. Tel: 01454

MOTHER & BABY UNIT
This is situated near
the Red Cross and will provide a baby changing facility and a small
area for breastfeeding.
POST OFFICE
A Post Office and General Grocery Store is available in
Badminton Village.
PROGRAMMES
will be available from Programme Kiosks on the Showground.
SATNAV
we do not recommend using SatNav as it
is not set up to allow for our traffic management - please follow
AA signage to Event.
SCREENS
We provide Big Screens near the Pig & Whistle
Catering Complex, the Collecting Ring and
The Lake which will show closed-circuit coverage of all
the action.
SHOP & DROP
A drop off point for
shopping will be available near the Event Organiser's
Office. This will be manned 12 noon - 5.00 p.m.(Whilst
every care will be taken, no responsibility can be accepted by the
Organisers for any loss or damage)

SHOW JUMPING
It is necessary to purchase Grandstand Seats to watch the Show
Jumping in the Main Arena and these usually are sold out by the
Event. Please visit our Online Kiosk to
purchase Grandstand Seats now.
TOILETS
Toilet facilities will be provided
throughout the showground. Locations will be notified on the
2010 Site Plan.
