Where to watch Badminton 2016

There’s nothing quite like the experience of the live event but if you can’t make it to the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials 2016 then there are plenty of ways to keep up with the action from a very special year at Badminton.

In an adjustment to the advertised programme the first horse inspection will unfortunately not be live streamed Wednesday 4th May. You can however still get live audio coverage of this important event courtesy of the Horseware Badminton Radio which can be accessed through the Badminton website. Daily coverage will continue through the week with expert commentary and all the behind the scenes news and views live on air from 8.30am on Thursday.

We also have an exciting development to announce; for the first time ever Dressage, final Horse Inspection and Jumping (excluding final rounds aired on BBC coverage) will be live streamed through www.badminton-horse.co.uk.

Be sure to follow Badminton news and social media pages for full commentary of the event with updates, video, audio and pictures to bring the 2016 event to life. Join the conversation on #MMBHT.

In the UK the BBC will be providing full Cross Country coverage on Red button and online 11:20am – 5:00pm as well a Sunday highlights show on BBC 2 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm including the live final Jumping rounds. We’ll post links to online services here when they become available.

Outside of the UK, FEI TV will offer live streaming of the full event from the first dressage test on Thursday morning through to the conclusion of the event on Sunday afternoon. In addition visitors to the site can also enjoy access to a broad selection of equestrian videos, including event previews and reviews, highlights, interviews, features and an extensive video archive. Sign up today at www.feitv.org and check for broadcasting times and further details!

After the event you can relive the excitement of the Cross Country phase through Horse & Country TV. H&C Play will be showing the entire phase from beginning to end with expert commentary from Spencer Sturmey, available to view on-demand on Monday May 9 as well as a Course Walk, behind the scenes with Rudall’s Round-Up, and post-event highlights.
