All visitors will see a major change at Badminton in 2019, as we celebrate our 70th anniversary by moving to a ‘print at home’ ticketing system and also to being able to take debit and credit card payments from those who buy their tickets at the gate. This technology is now secure enough for us to trust it even on our very widespread site! Cash will still of course be accepted but the hope is that the speed of entry into the grounds will improve noticeably. There are substantial discounts for the early booking of car parking and admission.
Tickets will go on sale to our previous customers on 7th January and to others on 14th January.
We now have internet access virtually throughout the tented village and lakeside areas, but it will always be problematic on the further reaches of the cross country course. We are encouraging all our food and beverage outlets in the central area to take contactless payments.
Eric Winter’s 3rd year as course designer will see the track reversed as is traditional, so the Quarry comes right at the end of the course. The Lake this time will be about 2/3rds of the way round, so will be quite a test for any horses that are not fully fit.
See Ticket Information for details on admission prices.
