Colne Saddlery is one of the largest equestrian retailers in the South West, run by a knowledgeable riding family with decades of experience supporting both horse and rider. Based in the heart of the Cotswolds, our team is passionate about providing expert advice alongside a carefully selected range of trusted equestrian brands.

The business is headed by Maurice Emtage, former President of the Society of Master Saddlers (2002–03), whose extensive experience in saddlery and fitting has helped establish Colne Saddlery as a trusted name within the equestrian community.

Maurice’s daughter, Gemma, joined the business in 2010 after completing a degree in Chiropractic at the University of Bristol and working as a racing secretary for leading National Hunt trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies. Together, they lead a friendly and experienced team dedicated to supporting riders of all levels, from leisure riders to top-level competitors.
