Kristina is based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire where she runs her own yard. In 2022 with CMS Google Katrina completed her first Burghley (25th) and the pair was 21st there in 2023.

Katrina has always ridden initially competing with the Pony Club then in the show ring in working Hunter Pony classes competing at the RIHS and HOYS. At the age of 14 she took up eventing and in her first season was fifth at the Pony Championships. She was given the ride on Judy Bradwell’s Lemington Lets Dance with who she was 17th at the 2014 Junior European Championships at Bishop Burton and successfully competed up to CIC3*. The pair was long-listed for the Young Rider team in 2015.

In 2016 after a gap year she made the decision to forgo a place at Leeds University to concentrate on horses and establish a yard at home. In 2020 she was selected for the 7-year-old world Championship at Le Lions (14th Igor B). In 2021 with CMS Google she completed Blenheim 4* and in 2022 was 6th in the 4*L at Bramham.  Through the WESKO foundation Kristina was mentored by Pippa Funnel and she trains with Christopher Bartle.

Her sister Danielle also rode competing WHPs at HOYS but then concentrated on swimming competing successfully for team GB until injury ended her career in the water. She is now a big supporter and groom to Kristina.

Outside of horses Kristina enjoys working her two springer spaniels and socialising with non-horsey-school friends.
