Biography
French representatives Arthur and Church ‘Ile form a long-term partnership who completed Badminton for the first time last year, in 50th place, having been eliminated in 2024 and 2023.
They have also completed Pau CCI5*-L twice, in 2024 and 2022, when they finished 23rd.
Arthur has produced Church ‘Ile, who was bred by his father Philippe (who competed both the dam and grandam), all the way through the horse’s international eventing career, from one-star level in 2018.
Arthur is married to Margaux Salaun and has a five-year-old daughter. He runs a yard near Versailles in Ile de France, from where he follows the racing in Auteuil. He also enjoys running and was planning to do his first marathon in April.
He is trained by Jean Coelho and four-time Badminton winner Sir Mark Todd.
