Biography

This will be a third consecutive Badminton for Grace and Game Changer, who finished 18th at their first attempt in 2024 and 30th last year.

They were also 16th at Pau CCI5*-L last year and were clear across country at Burghley on their five-star debut, in 2023, but withdrew before show jumping.

Game Changer is an Irish Sport Horse bred by Liam Webb in Ireland. He was bought from the Monart sale as a three-year-old by Annie Dalton and then bought by Grace as a five-year-old. 

She started him off in international competition in 2018 and he has become ‘the yard stalwart, taking myself and the team to some wonderful places’.

Both Grace’s parents, Ann and Nigel Taylor, completed Badminton, Nigel 13 times, and both represented their countries, the USA and Britain respectively, in championships. 

Grace, who now rides for the USA, has previously worked for Oliver Townend and American riders Karen O’Connor and Marilyn Little.

She is based at Washbrook Farm, Northamptonshire where her father runs Aston-le-Walls eventing and competition centre, and also spends time in America where her mother Ann has returned to live. She spent six weeks in New Zealand last winter, riding flat racehorses.
