Biography
It will be a first Badminton and 5* for British rider Max Warburton (25) who is based near Southam in Warwickshire. Last year with Badminton entry Monbeg Exclusive Max was 5th in the 4*L at Blair Castle.
After leaving school Max took an apprenticeship with Graham and Tina Fletcher and has since run his own yard. He is a previous pupil of the Wesko Equestrian Foundation.
Monbeg Exclusive is an Irish-bred Irish Sport Horse registered 13-year-old gelding. Bred by Noel O’Brien he is by OBOS Quality out of a mare by High Roller. Exclusive was initially produced by the Italian rider Stefano Brecciaroli then ridden to 4*L by Andrew Nicholson with who he completed Blenheim in 2021 after which Max took the ride.
