Biography

This is Max’s third time at Badminton, having completed in 2024 on Monbeg Exclusive and last year on Deerpairc Revelry, his ride again this time. 

The pair was also 18th at Burghley in 2024 and 23rd last year.

Max took over the ride on the Irish Sport Horse Deerpairc Revelry, bred by Dara O’ Malley, in 2022; the horse was previously ridden by part-owner Leilia Paske.

After leaving school, Max took an apprenticeship with show jumpers Graham and Tina Fletcher. He now runs his own yard at Burley Stud near Southam, Warwickshire. His partner, Ireland’s Susie Berry, is also competing at Badminton.
