Rosie Bradley-Hole

British rider Rosie Bradley-Hole (nee Fry) completed on her Badminton debut in 2022. Rosie (33) is based in Halstock, Dorset, where she runs her own yard. It will be a first Badminton and 5* debut for Romantic with who she was 3^rd in the 4*L at Blair Castle last year – a class she won in 2021 with True Blue Too.

Rosie started eventing when she was 14 and three years later in 2017 scored her first major win taking the CCI1* at Aldon in 2008 aged 17. In 2009 she was reserve for the European Young Rider team and the following year was selected to ride as an individual in the Young Rider European championships in Pardubice, finishing 15^th on Bankon Louie a homebred horse. She enjoys starting her horses from scratch and has now produced four horses to advanced level, two of those being homebred.

She juggled her eventing around academic studies and graduated with a 2.1 in law from Exeter University.

Outside of horses Rosie enjoys hunting with the Blackmore & Sparkford Vale and is an avid follower of National Hunt racing – her brother Harry is an NH trainer. She also enjoys cross country skiing in Norway.

Romantic is a 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse registered mare. Bred by Andy Sheehy she is a daughter of the former grand prix jumper Cevin Z out of the Irish Sport Horse mare Polly Teapot by The Carnival. Romantic was initially produced in the hunting field and formerly competed by Izzy Taylor to intermediate level. She was bought for Rosie in 2021 and recently acquired by owner Sarah Gordon Wild enabling Rosie to keep the ride.
