Biography
British-based American rider Tiana Coudray has completed Badminton four times since 2013, twice on Ringwood Magister and twice on her ride this year, Cancaras Girl.
Cancaras Girl, a Holsteiner, was bought as a six-year-old from show jumper Hollie Miller and Tiana has brought her through the grades from one-star over the last 10 years.
Tiana is from California, USA, and took up eventing aged 14 through a programme which allowed pupils to ride after school. At that stage, her main interest was Irish dancing; she has competed at five world championships.
Having trained for several years with Bea and Derek di Grazia, she came to England in 2011 with Ringwood Magister to prepare for Blenheim and ended up staying and setting up her own eventing business. She represented the USA at the London Olympic Games in 2012.
She is now based at Day House Farm, Swindon, Wiltshire, and is trained by Tracie Robinson and Tina Fletcher.
