Biography
Tom has ridden at Badminton seven times since 2019, completing on five occasions and finishing 12th on Dreamliner last year and seventh in 2024.
Dreamliner was bred by long-time eventing owners Mark and Angela Chamberlayne, by the prolific eventing sire Jumbo, who was competed by Andrew Nicholson.
Tom took over the ride on Dreamliner in 2023 from Oliver Townend, who twice won at four-star level on him. Prior to that, the horse was ridden by Padraig McCarthy, Jonty Evans and Emily Young-Jamieson, who started Dreamliner off in international competition.
Tom is a full-time rider based locally to Badminton, near Cirencester. He is trained by Pammy Hutton, Rowland Fernhough and Jay Halim.
