Biography
Will has twice completed Badminton with Ballycoog Breaker Boy, his ride again this year, having finished 24th in 2024 and 23rd last year.
The Irish Sport Horse was bred in Ireland by Louise Godkin and was bought from GHF Equestrian in 2016 as a four-year-old. He was initially ridden by Vicky Tuffs. Will has competed him since one-star level in 2018, being placed in the top 10 in all the national age championships.
This spring they finished third in the Grantham Cup CCI4*-S at Thoresby.
Will runs an equestrian business near Marlborough, Wiltshire, where he trains, breeds and sells horses. Both his parents and his sister Missy are involved in the sport as owners. His father represented Great Britain in cross-country skiing at the Sarajevo Olympics in 1988.
He is trained by Tracie Robinson, Richard Waygood and Pippa Funnell. He lists his interests as skiing, waterskiing and Pilates and is ‘starting to like gardening’.
