Biography

It will be a first Badminton and four-star for Swedish rider Hanna Berg (31) who is currently based at Attington Stud in Oxfordshire. With Badminton entry Quite Survivor Hanna was the Swedish team reserve combination for the 2017 European Championship and the 2018 World Games.

Hanna trains with Frederik Bergendorff, Yogi Breisner, Anders Wemlerth, Cecilia LeifWells, Elisabeth Lundhom

Quite Survivor is a 14-year-old Swedish Warmblood gelding. He is a family horse, homebred by Hanna’s mother Anette and owned by her sister Mathilda and parents. He is by Quite Easy (by Quidam de Revel) also the sire of Badminton entry Sarah D’Argouges and out of the event mare Flickan by the Swedish Warmblood Labrador. He acquired his name after a close shave with death as a foal after eating a poisonous plant. He is described as ‘an easy horse that loves jumping and despite being born and raised on a farm is still afraid of tractors’.
