British rider Louisa Milne Home (36) from Milnathort in Kinross in central Scotland will be competing at Badminton with King Eider for the fourth successive year and it will be the combination’s tenth four-star competition. Last year, at Badminton, the pair jumped double clear and was long-listed for the European Championships.
Since graduating from the Royal Agricultural College in 2001 Louisa has run her own training and competition yard. In this time she has produced several horses to advanced level, and formerly qualified Kings Berry for Badminton although he was unable to run due to injury. In 2011 she completed her first Burghley with King Eider. In 2012 the pair won the Advanced class at Eglington (her second advanced horse Porthill Rusty Nail was second) and in 2013 the combination completed their first Badminton.
