To kick off our ten week countdown to the 2016 Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, we have treated eventing fans to a two-part interview with double Badminton Champion, Mary King and her daughter, up and coming young eventer, Emily King.
Event Director Hugh Thomas explained why the Kings were chosen for the first in a series of videos counting down to the event: “We chose Mary and Emily as our feature riders simply because Mary has featured so heavily in the event in the past 25 years, in fact winning the first ever and now iconic Mitsubishi Motors Trophy. Emily has been accompanying her since before she could walk and is now a competitive four star rider so it was great to hear about her Badminton ambitions in this clip. Both are also Mitsubishi Motors Brand Ambassadors which is also a great link in the 25th anniversary of sponsorship from Mitsubishi Motors.”
